Hello everyone!
I’m looking for new homes for this wonderfull dog!
Their owner has to give them up for personal reasons.
Lewis: He’s two years old, half-height, and also Romanian. I’ve been working with him for a year now. He’s very shy and doesn’t like being touched yet. We’ve found a routine where he lets me touch him and putting on a leash is no longer a problem. He’ll be coming to live with me for a while in June to get used to living in a house.
He needs a home where he’ll be given lots of time and nothing will be expected of him. He’s a wonderful soul dog!
All the dogs live together indoors and outdoors and are also used to cats.
Lewis up-date 21/05/25:
He is such a wonderful and creative dog!
We’re now in the situation where he’s starting to set his boundaries!
Why is he doing this when he doesn’t yet live in a wonderful and loving family or anything?
His basic needs are more than met.
He has a roof over his head, so protection!
He has food and water!
He has human and canine companionship (three other dogs) to romp around in the garden and experience physical contact.
Now it’s up to us to show him that more can be even more fulfilling.
Yesterday he went to his safe place, and I could come and go, and he let me TTOUCH him.
